Greater Akron AA League Mission Statement:
The Greater Akron AA Baseball League is a non-profit organization operating to enrich the experience of 18 & over baseball players in the Greater Akron area. Providing an affordable and competitive playing atmosphere for aspiring, college, ex-college, and ex-professional baseball players that want to continue to play baseball at the highest level. Offering teams and players the opportunity to compete at the local, regional, and national level. While at the same time, the AA League administrators, teams, managers, and players will continue to carry on the rich tradition and history of our predecessors.

Commissioner - Harold Huth

The Greater Akron AA League President/Commissioner serves as the AA League liason with the AABC, NABF, or any other organizations/leagues in all matters. Preside over all league meetings including the appointing of a Steering Committee. Receive all protest letters and present protests to the Steering Committee for resolution. Oversees the execution of all league documentation including team rosters and tournaments.

Treasurer - Bob Paradise

The Greater Akron AA League Treasurer duties consist of of the collection and accounting of all AA League fees, the issuance of receipts, and the payment of all approved AA League obligations. Responsible for the preparation and distribution of Treasurer's Report as required by the Board of Directors. Prepare and distribute annual financial report. Assist the AA League President/Commissioner in the administration of all AA League duties.

Umpire-in-Chief - Ken Shrewsberry

The Greater Akron AA League Umpire-in-Chief oversees the recruiting, handling, assigning, assessment, and scheduling of umpires for AA League games.

League Statistician - Marc Korogi
The Greater Akron AA League Statistician duties include the collection, recording, and preparation of AA League statistics that are provided by the team managers.

Secretary - Bob Paradise
The Greater Akron AA League Secretary duties include recording of minutes at AA League meetings. Assist in the scheduling effort. Responsible for the processing of all Player Release, Reinstatement, and Registration forms.

Steering Committee - Kevin Brown, Kevin Yelinek, Mark Hayhurst, Jason Bogavich

The steering committee is made up people that act as liasons between the AA League Management and the AA League Team managers. Steering Committee members can be anyone interested in assisting the AA League, even if that person is not involved with any team on the field. Sterring Committee members will make recommendations to the AA League President based on the feelings of team managers. The Steering Committee will also rule on protests and suspensions.
